Short story published by Joyland

They’ve finally done it! My first ever publication of a short story is available on Joyland Vancouver. From the Joyland website: “In an article on the state of literary magazines, Quill and Quire proclaimed, ‘A savvy, sleek publication, devoted entirely to new short fiction. Based in Toronto, Joyland boasts editors in several major North American cities and in London, England, and has published marquee names such as Jonathan Lethem and Lydia Millet alongside Canadian writers… The future of literary magazines is already here.'”

My story, “Kittens,” follows the comedic downfall a bored suburban housewife who becomes obsessed with the man living outside her neighbourhood drugstore. Go on, read it!
